A helpful article, courtesy of Isabella

A woman who has been volunteering with middle school-aged kids recently got in touch with me to say that her students were working on their own novels. Not only that, they were devoting considerable time to editing their work and honing their prose. Pretty impressive. And Isabella, one of the woman’s pupils, brought in an article she hoped would help her fellow students with the editing efforts. I’m linking to this article now because I hope it will help other students in their quest to become better writers and because it’s always really cool to hear from the outside world once in a while. Thank you, Ava and Isabella, for your input. And write on!
